Shopping in Sofia has really changed dramatically with the opening of three brand new malls last year. Most of the shops in the malls are Western brand name retail outlets and are priced accordingly. For those on good income with little spare time to shop, the easy car access and fact that everything is under one roof means the malls are most welcome.
