Sofia - the insider`s guide

Ask the average person on the street in the UK or elsewhere abroad, about Bulgaria and their answers will be limited to "wine, weightlifting and poison umbrellas," if at all they have heard about the country. Others may be able to tell you about package winter or summer holidays, rose oil and the excellent yoghurt but somehow Bulgaria's PR machine is keeping the country a secret and it continues to be labelled as a former east block country similar to Romania.
Of course, anyone that has read 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' will also know that Bulgaria boasts a world class Quidditch team!

Needless to say there is much more to Bulgaria and through the pages of this site it will be easy to see why so many foreigners have fallen in love with the country!
